As part of the finishing up of the sculpture we had to make drawings of the final piece. I hooked mine to a beam upstairs in the sculpture studio and it gently twisted back and forth and made it clear that it wouldn’t be keeping still at all. So I drew it as I saw it, which kept changing, hence the drawing as it appears below. It was good fun to do – I drew the lines with a stick and after they had dried brushed on washes to get the tones, layering them to vary the darkness.
