I’ve started my project work in earnest today – I only have a week before college starts – and I’m looking at images of Bathsheba and David. So today’s drawing is sort of an ‘excerpt’ (do you say that about paintings?!) after a Rembrandt painting called Bathsheba at her bath. This is the first time I’ve put a nude on my blog and it’s slightly odd but at the same time, artists do depict nudes, usually female. The nude in the context of art and in the context of this story is something I’m thinking about for this project. When I’ve muddled through my thoughts and pulled them out of their tangle I’ll let you know what it is I think about it!
