Seventeen

Today I was almost a headless chicken. In between trying to do a website for a friend, taking the toddler to playgroup and the eldest to a party, I realised that tomorrow I’m suppose to take a decorated piece of A2 to bookbinding class to use for endpapers. I thought about drawing and painting but decided it would take too long to cover the whole paper and I wasn’t sure I could maintain the consistency needed. So I ransacked my art box, got out a huge eraser, drew a feather on it, carved it and printed. Can’t tell you how much I enjoyed it or how big my grin was when I finished. Here it is, one of them anyway:

Water based block printing ink.
